Climate Summary for Cyprus

Cyprus has a very warm, Mediterranean climate. Summers are long and dry, with very little rainfall between May and September. Highs are around 34-37C (93-99F) in mid-summer, so autumn and spring can be more pleasant times to visit as temperatures are a more reasonable 24-28C (74-82F). The weather can be more unsettled towards the end of the year but plenty of warm, sunny days still occur. Average sunshine hours vary from 13 hours a day in summer to five hours a day in winter.
