Climate Summary for Morocco

Coastal Morocco, which includes the popular resort of Casablanca, has little rainfall between May and September and highs of 26-28°C (79-82°F) with occasional hot spells when temperatures exceed 40°C (104°F). There is more rainfall between October and April but there are still many dry days and highs are around 18-21°C (64-70°F). In inland areas the climate varies with altitude. The Atlas Mountains have snow in winter but away from the main mountain range, it is generally warm and dry, for example at Marrakech in the south, and at Fes in the north.
